Dan Deacon Honolulu Concert reviews
Well...
"Dan Deacon is definitely made up of incredibly talented musicians. The concert showcased this talent. Justin Vernon effectively engaged with the audience in a lovely manner, although I believe he could have engaged more in conversation with the crowd. What you, or at least I, desire when attending a concert is to experience the artist's personality in addition to the music in a new, unique, or more genuine way. The music was well-selected and beautiful. Regrettably, we were seated at the top of the balcony, and some of the sound did not reach us. The view from there was lacking. In my personal view, Dan Deacon shines when they avoid excessive "noise". The more subdued elements resonated with me more deeply than the louder rock components during the performance. In my opinion, this is ultimately what defines Dan Deacon. However, this preference may be influenced by our seating location. I will certainly attend again, but I will opt for seats nearer to the stage."
